    Default aluminum finish

ok.... after removing my engine and transmission, and rebuilding both, i decided to polish up the bellhousing and tail shaft on the tranny. They both cleaned up real nice....so nice that I want them to stay that way.... so... what can I use to protect the aluminum?

There are clear coats with good adhesion on polished metals, for example this:

    Branth's 2K-(M)-Schutzlack

I do not know if you can order this for the US, but you can write to them in English.
