    Default Speedometer drive gear

    Hi All,
    I'm attempting to repair the speedometer on my '56. Cable and drive are working. It appears that the drive gear has disintegrated. I'm not having much luck finding one, or even a photo of what it looks like.
    Can anyone help with parts, guidance, or photos?

    Is it the same unit as a '56 Thunderbird ?, one on sale on Ebay;

    Looks like the driven gear is sacrificial nylon;

    Here is a Mercury version for '56;

    Mac's have a whole range of white unit ratios;

    ..the question is which one is right for a Mkii?
