    Default Speedometer Doesn't Work Now

Had a complete tranny rebuild, and speedo worked fine the next couple of times I drove. Then all of a sudden nothing. Had never had a problem before so assuming they didn't hook it back up correctly. Is it accessible without dropping the tranny?

There is an access plate in the side of the hump. They could have not put the head adapter on correctly or the nylon gear has stripped.

Curious as to the cost of the tranny rebuild, not sure I will be needing one and until brakes are overcome won't know, but fearing the worst...Thanks

I had mine completely rebuilt two years ago for $2600.00. The shop is in Northern Ohio and specializes in old T-bird and other Ford products. Don't forget you must pull the engine to take the transmission out!!
