I am sorry to see him go. He was the last person in the auto industry who ever produced a product out of passion.
I remember reading that when he retired from Ford, the only pictures in his office were his father with the original Continental and himself with the Mark II.
I think that that says a lot about him.

I suspect but can't confirm that he was also the last of Edsel's kids to pass away. I am not sure if any of the daughter's are still alive.
He saw a lot. For us car geeks, what he was a part of, arguably the automobile's golden age, means he was someone we won't see again in any lifetime.
