Dear all,
My Continental Mark II could have been equipped with air conditioning.
I'm looking for the original invoice.
Do you know a solution that allows me to recover the original invoice to find out if, indeed, it was equipped with air conditioning?
Thank you !

It is helpful to include the VIN number in your request.

Here is the A/C configuration for the following VIN:
C56A1814 No factory A/C
C56R3736 No factory A/C

Please note: Factory A/C vehicles have the A/C vents located in the interior headliner of the roof. And before May 1956, have nostrils in the rear fenders.
After market A/C systems usually have the A/C vents located some where other than the roof. Usually in the back seat package tray. And the rear fenders usually do not have the nostrils.
There are some very rare exceptions. Meaning that some non-factory A/C cars actually had roof vents and nostrils installed later. For example C56A1735.

If you are asking about another VIN, please let us know the VIN in question. Thanks. John

Hughes, I have added a copy of 1814's Dealer Invoice to your car's history. Now, it's your turn to give me something. Below the Dealer Invoice in the history are three fields noted as NEEDED. Engine Number, Body Tag and Carpet Nameplate. Would you please provide that information? Thanking you in advance. Pat

Hi Pat,
I don't think I ever requested the original invoice for my Mark II. C56B2198.
Please send it to me.
Do you email them or snail mail them?
Let me know which address you need.

Thanks,
Jack Bowser

Jack - The original invoice has been posted on 2198's history since for quite a while. It doesn't show that you've looked at it! :(

I've used this as an opportunity to update the 2198's history -
