Purchased 3360 and became a Mark II owner. I currently own 1977 Lincoln Town Coupe, 1978 Lincoln Town Car, 1979 Lincoln Collector, 78 Lincoln turned into a 1966 Batmobile. This is a whole new experience. Other than Ebay where is a source for parts?

There are a number of Vendors - search for "Vendors" and you will find the Sticky under Mark II Parts for sale...

A lot of the Classic Lincoln guys sell parts for the Mark II but good Rubber and some other things are hard to find. Also, sit down when looking for parts as the prices will sometimes take your breath away... it was a $10,000.00 car in 1955 - there are just not a lot of parts out there and a limited pool of people with the cars. This is not a 60's Mopar or Mustang and certainly not a GM product...

Welcome abord! Post some pics!

Welcome. Mark II Enterprises does offer a fair selection of parts. You will discover, that parts prices tend to be high. Also, don't forget to post your parts requests here on the forum. Many owner's here have "this or that" part they are willing to part with.

Welcome to the Forum.

I have updated 3360's Registry History:

If you have anything to add, please post it here.

Thank you. The Mark should arrive before the end of the week! Can't wait to see it first hand.

Your car's engine number and carpet plate information would be a welcomed addition to 3360's history.

What do you mean by carpet plate? The plate on the front center hump? That usually says Continental??

06-14-2015, 06:03 PM
Yes; the gold plate on the transmission hump just below the heater/vent controls. Many Mark IIs had the original owner's name (or that of a subsequent owner) engraved on that plate just below the Continental script.

Welcome to the Forum. Looking forward to seeing pictures when you get it.

The plate ALWAYS says Continental and sometimes has another name which may be (but not necessarily) the original owner.

I think there are so many restoration or counts and custom shops, you can contact them they could help you or can assist with the parts.

No name on the plate.

Finally got to the back of my engine block and this is what is stamped on it "ECU0015A". What does this tell us?

Pat will know it better than me, but I found in the "Ultimate American V-8 Engine Data Book" on page 133the casting numbers of the engine blocks, it should be
ECU 6015 (not 0015, missread?). I do not know whether there was a difference in numbers between the Lincoln or Mercury and the Continental engine. I'm sure there was a significant difference in manufacturing, Pat will tell us.

It must be ECU 6015, hard to read. That number indicates a Continental block. I thought I read the engine number should be around 1,000 less than your VIN? My VIN is 3360. Is this not the serial number? If so where would that be found?

Will that help you?

Checked my engine number on my car 3360 and it is 2378..
This seems to be in the ball park being 982 from my VIN.
