In 1987, there was a beautiful Mark II on a car lot on State Street in Santa Barbara. It was silver with a black interior and A/C as I recall, and was offered at $10,000. It looked perfect for the price but I had limited capability to work on a car at that time and I knew it would probably need things done. Instead, I bought a new Mark VII for $20,000, which made a great daily driver and going to work car, which I still have at 200,000 miles. The Mark II has more of a draw now than ever. I'm not interested in a museum piece but something to drive that looks like a survivor. A good example would be the 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham featured in the April 2015, Hemmings Classis Car magazine. Cheers.
