Hello from the one and only Storm Lake. I am Jim Storck. New to this forum, but not new to Continentals. I bought my deep blue '56 Mark II 40 years ago. The car is an original Iowa car having 98 thousand miles. I am the third owner.

I got my start in the old car world at 16, when an uncle gave me a 1929 Ford Model A he had bought new. I still own the Ford.

After all these years I still enjoy learning more about my hobby, so I look forward to reading this forum everyday and contributing if I can be of help.

Jim

Jim -

Welcome to the forum. You and I share more in common than just the Mark II; my first car was also a Model A (1930 Town Sedan) and I also still have it.

I trust you provided Chuck with the info to update your listing on the Registry? We're always eager to see pictures--post them when you can.

Thanks for the kind welcoming. Yes, Chuck has all updated information on my Mark II. There are some old photos of my car on my brother John's and my "Lincolns by the Lake" pages.

Robert, I too, saw the Mk II at the Warp Museum. I wonder if it is still there. I think it was about 1971 when I was there. My Mk II is an Iowa car. I bought it from the estate of a Mrs. Johnson of Des Moines. Please stop by when in the area.
