My front left turn signal isn?t working, bulb is good, parking lite works, rest of signals work fine. Not getting any power to the front left socket when the turn signal lever is activated, any ideas?

Could be the switch itself, but I would check at the terminal block at the end of the turn signal wire coming from the turn signal fixture. The terminal blocks can be confusing if someone had tinkered with the wiring before.

Thanks, Where is that located under the dash?

The terminal block is located on the right side under the hood in front of the engine. It’s a block with about 8 or so bullet connectors all plugged into it.

I checked the block on the drivers side which has 4 wires leading in and out and I have power to various connections when headlines or parking lites on on but when left turn signal is activated with the key on there is no power to any of the 4 wires either leading in or out.

Hello, check the terminals on the wiring at the steering column where they connect to go up to the turn signal switch. One of those is the one going out to the terminal block. If there is still no power there but there is power going into the column wires to the switch then your turn signal switch could be bad. It is not a difficult replacement and the switch is available new.

I’m not sure from your description which side you are talking about. When describing left and right that’s determined by the driver position in the driver’s seat. Check the terminal block on the right side of the radiator as the left side power for the turn signal passes through the right side terminal block. If it’s flashing there there is a bad connection in that location. Do you have a factory service manual? It’s best that you have one so we can tell you where to look for diagrams. There are both schematics and wiring diagrams. Both helpful in their own right. Color coding is done by the wire color and the color of the bullet connector end.
