Hello everybody I really need some help. I'm trying to find out where the windshield washer fluid goes from the bottle into the cowl to the wiper spray nozzles. I can't get my car saftied because I can't get the washer mechanism to work. I need to know which rubber tube goes through the cowl and supplies the washer nozzles fluid. Can anybody direct me so that I can put a temporary pump in hook it up to that rubber hose that will activate my nozzles? I need to know where that hose is that goes through the cowl. I've tried blowing air in through numerous hoses trying to get air up to the nozzles and I get nowhere. I'm desperate for some information if anybody can help. I still have the original washer bottle lid and it does not function so I just need to get a temporary pump hooked up to get a safety.

It should have been the one hooked up to the bottom of the 3 tubes on the chassis, the only one meant to carry liquid. It runs up the firewall to the left of the vacuum line that branches off to feed the wiper motor. Does that work? The left vacuum line goes into a T that branches off into two tiny tubes to feed the sprayer nozzles. The smallest vacuum line is the spray coordinator. It sends a vacuum pulse to release a spirtz if washer fluid in the middle of each stroke of the wiper.

Someone probably tried air pressure before and blew the tiny tubes off the attachment points. If they came off the T that’s pretty easy to get to, but the nozzles are not.

Hello Barry. Thank you for reading and replying to my post. So I see the little block on the bottom of the inside wheel well where there are three tubes going in and three tubes going out. The lowest tube the one you're talking about has it t on it almost immediately after that little junction block where the tubes come out. Is it possible that the tube which turns into a steel line further up the wheel well liner is plugged? Have you ever heard of this before. Yes my windshield wipers are working and I feel clicking at the solenoid I guess it's called on top of the windshield washer bottle but nothing comes out. That's why I'm wondering if that's still line may have corrosion in it and is blocking any fluid getting up to the nozzles? I know this car was overbuilt and overly complicated, I am technically inclined, I've had a 55 Chevy for 35 years which I completely rewired and did the mechanicals on. I was a plumber by trade and I'm very knowledgeable with electrical and such Car electrical etc. But I simply cannot figure this one out. It's holding me up from getting a safety so that I can bring the car home and work on it properly on my own time. I also don't know how to send a picture if I want to on this forum. Are we allowed to send pictures to each other on this forum? Anyway your response is awaited and more than welcome. Thank you for any help you can give me I'm still working on it. I need to get this done. What I really want to do is just find the tube that gets to the nozzles and rig a temporary pump up to the windshield washer button on the dash and have the nozzles work. Then I can have a safety done and bring the car home.

It's the left of the two vacuum lines running up the firewall on the left of the battery. That should lead to the bottom of the three tubes. Yes, it could be plugged. Detach it and try putting air to it.
