John beat me to the punch. I was going to tell Chuck, that tomorrow he will be re-classified as a NEW MEMBER which will give him unlimited access to the Forum and the complete information on his car

I have just completed updating the history of 1976 and have included a copy of the original Dealer Invoice and exemplar photos of the car and fabric and carpet swatch photos, illustrating 1976's original 1955 specs.

Chuck, a quid pro quo - In exchange for this information I am asking for several photos that I'm sure you took as part of your appraisal documentation. 1) the brass data plate on the driver's door jamb pillar, 2) a front view of the car 3) an interior photo and 4) the engine compartment. These photos will be added to the 1976's history in our Registry.

Yeah, that, too!

The engine number is stamped into the block at the base of the distributor. Not the cast number, the stamped one.
