Last month I bought a Mark II, In very nice condition. Almost everything works. For many years I restored rear engine air cooled VW Beetles. Finally sold those off and decided to take a big leap to a car that I've always loved since seeeing a brand new one when I was a high school kid.
I can handle light mechanical jobs and looking over the Mark II things are fairly simple compared to today's cars. I also work and ride motorcycles, a long time computer hobbiest, and film collector. The film collecting on 16mm started way back before VHS and DVD. I hope Mark II people will find this site and contribute.
