I'm organizing a shop/garage tour for our local car club. I felt that many people had little side projects that were interesting that they don't bring to our weekly car night. Among the known projects are a 55 Nomad restoration, Saab Sonnet body going onto a Chevy s-10 frame with 350 v-8 and full air suspension, 49 Plymouth and others that were put into storage 50 years ago in original condition. Additionally, we have a couple of guys with 10+ cars including a 56 Bel-Air convertible in showroom condition that we're hoping to see. I can't wait and will have to wear a bib for my drool..
We're planning to cruise between people's shops & garages on Oct 3rd and end at my house for a BBQ and end of year party.
Maybe we can get a visit to Barry's collection when we're in Detroit.
