I remember seeing this car here in Syracuse at one of the annual automobile shows in the 1960's - probably 1964-65. It was quite impressive at the time, with some very nice (if overdone) detail work on the wheels and interior. I recall even at the time thinking how impractical it was, but I spent enough time studying it that the man in charge of the exhibit gave me a couple of nice 8x10 promotional photos of it. I had often wondered whatever became of it. I know it spent some time at the Hollywood "Cars of the Stars" museum with a horrible multi-hued overlay down the sides. It looked like it had fallen on pretty hard times. I remember at some point it was "semi-restored" with even the pseudo-Mercedes grille shell painted gold. It's nice to see it restored to the way I remember first seeing it over 45 years ago. It looks good, if you can accept it for what it is and in the context of the time it was created. While I would never pay $150,000 for it, I might consider a realistic cash offer - whatever THAT might be.
Even after all these years, God help me and I know I probably shouldn't, I still like this car.
