    Default Dash Pot

    After installing new 8 mm plug wires, pertronix 2, wide gap plugs and hot coil bypassed the resistor and A touch of timing!!per Barry?s post my Mark II has never ran better!!! It?s really amazing it actually idles perfectly rock solid around 550 and drops down to about 450 in gear with no stall... and no tranny clunk it?s almost electric car quiet!! That?s great but my issue is the dash pot!! I?ve set it up per the tech manual with the proper gap but after I drive and everything gets hot it pushes my linkage to a much higher rpm!! The idle adjustment screw is completely off the stop bar!! If I try to compensate it gets adjusted so far out of wack it does not function at all!! Should I just replace it or am I missing something!! FYI I set everything up on a warm engine...Thanks

    Ordered a new one!! My old one was def shot!!its kinda cool to see one work correctly!!i don’t think mine ever worked!!!
