Newbie Questions,...Fluids and Filters

Hi I bought 2119 and it appears to be a "sleeping beauty". What oil do you use? Trans fluid I see in search is Dex III /Mercon but I believe that is obsolete. Please recommend the A/C charge, oil, trans fluid and anything else you think of. Thanks.

I do have a Shop Manual, so I'm thinking oil 5/20 and STP, Trans Dex/Merc Domestic, A/C ???? Also I have a spin on oil filter Napa 1515 is that OK? The air filter is dry and is Auto-light FA22. Are these normal filters? The shop manual shows an oil soaked air filter and a cartridge type oil filter. HELP!!!

In all likelihood your AC has not been updated and still uses R12 instead of the newer R134a. Here is that discussion:

Some members have had some success with recharging with R12.

I would stay with the size and type of air filter and oil filter that are currently in use.
