    Default Engine Rebuild

In need of engine rebuild in SoCal area; 1957 engine appears to be frozen. Purchased from Seattle area owner several years ago. Was parked/garaged in mid-1970's (running at the time). From my research would assess rings frozen in the cylinders;. Attempted to manually turnover at lower pulley and fly wheel with no success. Of note, saturated cylinders in Marvel oil. Thanks

Give the Marvel some time-- a week or two-- Then with the valve covers off so you can watch the rocker arms move the valves and not bend push rods due to frozen valves try rocking the crankshaft at the front bolt with a breaker bar. Little by little. This may free her up. Be sure to watch the valves if you do get it to turn.

Hi Gilbert, just wondering what the status of your car is. It's been six years since I saw you or your car. Hope all is well.10530763_10203094745114439_5157524714713864036_n.jpg
