Default 1301 Mark II front seat

How is the bottom of the front seat secured to the seat frame on a 56 Mark II?

It isn't secured, it simply sits inside the frame. Try lifting the front edge up and you should be able to wriggle it up until it lifts out completely then pass sit out of one of the doors. This will then expose and give access to the relays and motors.

    Hope this helps,

Be very careful around the two larger red wires. They are constantly hot and could cause some damage if shorted to the frame or the floor. Best to disconnect the battery.
