    Default 2946 F/S C/L Caledonia, OH $24,500

The following is for sale by a current forum member; the following is taken from the C/L link below:
    https://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/5760960489.html

1956 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL MARK II - $19,500 (Central Ohio)

Recently purchased from previous owner of 30+ years 1956 Continental Mark II. The car is going to need fuel, brake, and cooling system work to be road worthy and make a very presentable driver quality car. The glass is good with the exception of the passengers side front has a crack. Overall the interior is in very nice condition including the head liner. The frame center cross member is going to need some repair at the outside ends. The rest of the frame looks good. The rear passengers side floor board has been repaired. The front power seat is going to need repaired, motors run but does not move. Good Ohio title. Over all a great car with lots of potential.

P.S. I deleted the post of yesterday b/c I had mistakenly transposed the VIN numbers.

I will never understand why if you are redoing the interior of a Mark II and putting that much time, energy and money into something that you don't spend the extra few bucks on the 2 extra hides to do the seats without cut corners. All that labour just goes down the tubes... Gets off soap box...

I couldn't agree more. I clicked on the link showing the car and found the sign "runs when gas poured in carburetor" quite amusing to say the least. A car that looks that good sent to an auction that don't run? That should crucify the price.

PS I'm nearing that stage of the game with the seats and hides and am trying to figure out how many to order to do the seats properly

It's not only the carburetor that's the problem. This frame has a rusted member. Please see the original C/L listing above. Check in back of the left front wheel. John

Does anyone know the status of 2946? Did it sell? If so, for how much? Please advise. Thanks. John

Typo: I think they meant "real barn find" but it came out as "rear barn find."
