    Default Vacuum Schematic

Dose anyone have a vacuum diagram or schematic for the under dash connections. I have leaks and have checked the hoses and storage tank under the hood. I have a reprint of the Technical data and the Service Information but can't find anything on the vacuum system. The antenna doesn't work and I am told that could be where my leak is. Any info appreciated.

I can help you. If you want a trouble-free vacuum system, replace the vacuum tubing. It's a real PITA, but it's the only way to insure everything will work correctly.

If you're asking just about the antenna there are three tubes that run to the switch, one is for constant vacuum and the other two are up and down. The switch is oriented sideways so it doesn't matter which goes where. You like have two switched. oriented sideways its the single port in the middle of a V orientation.

I will be posting a vacuum system tutorial tomorrow as I just finished a replacement of the piping on a '57.

Thanks for the diagram Holger, it's a big help in understanding how it is all connected.
