Trip meter cable

Hi All,

So over the weekend I removed my gauge cluster all went well until I got to the trip meter cable. It was rusted solid and had a very bad kink in it. So I snipped. Is this cable easy to find? Any aftermarket or other automobile cable will work when I go back to install? Also any issues with re-chroming the bezels? Only worried about the small threaded holes for those thin screws and having an issue later
