    Default Antenna Switch

Going through a mish mosh parts box that I had, I came across the vacuum antenna switch which was stuck in place. I removed the 2 screws, cleaned everything up and everything seems to move pretty good. Anyone have a exploded view of the assembly....it looks pretty straight forward but there is a clip? of some sort along with the spring inside. Where does that clip go?

    thanks

    Please post pictures.

It's very similar to a residential 3-way switch, which is really a two way. It's a single-pole double-throw center-off switch designed to shut off the flow of vacuum, in either direction when you release the wand. The spring is designed to return the rubber block to the off position. I'll know what the plate does when I see it.

I believe the small coil spring goes in the shuttle hole to keep the rubber pressed on the ports and the spring with two ends returns the handle to the center off position.
