Pre Purchase Inspection Service Vendors

Does anyone have a good (or bad) experience using a pre purchase inspection service?

Over 100 photographs detailing issues, fair assessment of condition, honest opinion.
I would use them again if the need arises.
But nothing beats the eyes of an experienced owner of the same car.
