Miles driven per year

I've been driving my Mark II since Spring of 2003. When I got it it had 2,800 miles on it, post restoration, where it was put back together with all new wear parts back in 1994.

It now has 14,700 miles. Divide that by 7 years and I've put a little over 1,700 miles a year on my car. About 75% of that mileage is highway. The only breakdown was fan belts burning off a seized air conditioning compressor.

I got my Mark in 84. The odometer reading was something over 89000. Now it's just over 90. As you can see I don't drive it much. Currently, the car has carburetor problems and does not run at all.
