Are you a Mark II Owner or driver?

Difference is this.... An OWNER rarely drives it and only runs it to maintain the vehicle. A DRIVER takes it out frequently.

Driver. 11,000 miles in 6 years. Driven it as far as 5 hours away for shows. Further than that I have little attention span, so I ship it.

I wish I could say I was a driver, but alas, I guess I'm an owner. I've had my Mark for over twenty years. I doubt I've driven more than a few thousand miles at best. I seems every time I get one thing fixed on it where it is serviceable, something else fails. Currently, the carb is off the car. I have another one to install, I just can't seem to find the time.

I drive mine to whole foods nearly every week in Raleigh. It draws a crowd. Usually I end up talking to a car guy about it for 20 minutes.

Hello all. I just joined up with you all. I was instructed to go to the newbie's section but couldn't find it so I say hello to you all here.
I just got my first car 2 weeks ago after salavating for several year. The car is in great shape with some local CA history so that's fun too.
I will be a driver for sure. My friend was right.. everytime you take the car out it's like a parade. I love it.
