All, I just put 800 miles on the Mark II last weekend and on the last leg of the journey, I had a flat tire. The car sports P235-75R15s made by Uniroyal, which seem to be impossible to find. Unless I can find one then it looks like I will be facing the prospect of having to replace the entire set. So the question is, what size tires are you running on your Marks? Additionally, what white wall width do you use? Thanks in advance for your help.

My car has 820-25 bias ply tires. The non air cars had 800-15 and air cars had 820-15. I would not put bias ply tires back on my car again as it tends to drift on the freeway. If you change, go with radials if you drive your car a lot. The whitewall is 3 inch.

There is one problem installing full-sided radials. If you look closely you will see that the tire come dangerously close to the upper ball joint. Any wear on the bearings could make the tire rub. Some people use spacers. I wouldn't recommend that.

I had new steel wheels made by Vintique that have a 3/4" shallower back-set effectively making the car's track 1 1/2" wider. It gave me the clearance I need, decreased the turning radius and it make the car have a more attractive stance, IMO.

I'm running 3" whitewalls by Coker. It took some work to balance them but the car will do 90 without shaking.
