I was disappointed that there were not more models besides steam engines. I heard "balls-out" more often than necessary.

The highlight though was a model of a Duesenberg that I had read about in a hobby magazine and then found a link on line. It was truly astounding.

The other stuff was cool, but our eyes were burning from all the fumes from the gas-fired engines being demonstrated.

The gas engine are neat but they can be a little smelly. The HIT-N-MISS engines are kind of fun to watch run and listen to.

That Duesenburg is something else!! Next he is going have to build a radio controlled chauffeur to drive it.:)

Personally I like the steam engines. They have all their wiggly parts out in the open where you can watch them work. Also they can run at very low speeds while producing maximum torque. Lets see how about a steam powered MKII?:D

I keep saying "next year" I'm going to get up there for the show and also stop by the Ford museum to see what's new.

I think you'd be fascinated by the Dymaxion House on display. Pretty cool stuff.
