My son picked up this 77 Mark V Continental sight unseen to be used as a demolition derby car. However upon looking it over the car is exceptionally clean. The interior is in excellent condition. The body has surface rust spots only; nothing rusted through and no dented or caved in fenders, etc. Vinyl top is smooth with no cuts or blemishes. Chrome looks good with only a few small rust pits on right side of rear bumper. It appears they would be easy to buff out. It has a new speedometer, old one shows about 37000 mile. (probably 137,000?)
Power windows, seats, interior lights do not work. (fuse?)
Radio & power antenna work.
Engine is a 460cc. It will crank but does not start. Appears to be electrical but haven’t looked into it.
The car appears to be basically quite sound although it obviously will need lots of tender loving care. It’s an ideal candidate for someone looking for a restoration project. $4500 or best offer
