So Jim has begun fitting the car with the top. It's off a 1968 Galaxy. It's going to fit & fold quite well! :D

Wish mine had quarter windows. Nothing like a 3 1/2 foot blind spot.

I was originally told by the previous owner that the top mechanism was from a '40s Continental. Lowell said that that's totally wrong. He believes, as was confirmed by Art Sears, that H & E made the mechanism from scratch using 1953 Mercedes top latches, common for H & E conversions of the period.
