The photo of the engine compartment shows a good view of a Narragansett hood liner. Narragansett hood liners had a vinyl binding around the breather cut out. Originals and subsequent repros had a fabric binder that matched the color of the hood liner.

If they would have taken the time to do the correct thing with the biscuits and upper panels, it would have been much nicer.

Roger that! But, I don't find any vinyl in a Mark II very pleasing. (Even in the areas in a '57 interior that're supposed to be vinyl!)
