Richard, still hanging onto my seat after watching that, After owning a few of these but mainly drag racing them, it was exciting to enjoy those laps around our famous Bathurst race track, set on side of mountain and very long straightaway, you know we grew up with that big bathurst race once a year that would stop the nation, was exciting before they put up concrete safety barriers to stop the rollovers down the mountain side. I worked for Ford when these muscle cars were released and worked on and roadtested the XW, XY GTHO, GT CAPRI, TWIN CAM ESCORT,2V CORTINA AND FALCONS. plus imported mustangs and special cars the dealer fancied, Dino ferrari gt, mercurys etc. Ah great days! That actual race is historic class and saw Al Boughen in customline, also have close friend driving 71 XY Falcon in there as well.:)
