You're going to need a storage building soon. Block buildings make great storage. I sit across the parking lot from mine.

Oh wow! Congratulations. You just got my dream car too. I don't know that there are any two more beautiful 1950s luxury cars than the Mark II and the Eldorado Broughams and I think your Brougham is the most beautiful of all colours.

Is that the car from C.B. from the Cadillac LaSalle club?
As I have one (still on air) since more than 25 years, if I can be of assistance...I had 7 years to restore my EB body # 230, I have the impression I know these cars rather well!

My guess, regarding the previous owner, was right. I'm sure this car in now in good hands.

Yes you were correct... I wanted to keep it under wraps till it was all final... I am very blessed to be the new steward of such a fine car from such a great man that will truly be missed from the old car world.

Well the new Brougham is resting next to the Mark II I think it makes for a good pair!!:D

Rick, you will have to align the front bumper: the LH is too near from the body, the RH too low! (the front bumper is difficult to align perfectly!)

Well I took the Brougham to the Cadillac Nationals in Columbus and I won Peoples choice award !!! Then the next show I won Best in Show! Here are some more photos of the car.
Did you see this 59 Fleetwood Limo on EBay? http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=130597906757+

Thats quite a vehicle.
Awards well deserved!
I got top honors at 2 separate (local) shows with the Mark II this Fall.
What to do with these god-awful trophies?

Rick, congratulations on the awards the Cadillac received. It's a very nice car indeed.
Hey Rick, I think it's time to go back to the more exclusive Mark II. I read that there are so many Cadillac's down there in Texas, they are falling from the sky.

Apparently a dealer in Forth Worth decided to break ground by dropping a 1953 Series 62 sedan from a giant crane.
Congratulations on your awards.

Wow. I read the article on Frank Kent Cadillac and all I can say is just wow.
I posted about a month ago about my other dream car, aside from the Mark II, that I recently purchased - a 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood. It, in fact, was owned by Frank Kent Cadillac. The destruction of a 1953 Cadillac just seems like an odd way to memorialize your groundbreaking. Bizarre and unnecessary flamboyancy if you ask me. Let's hope it was a junker in disguise.
