If you use IE or Firefox as your browser, you can easily create a desktop shortcut for the Mark II forum with the icon below:

http://markiiforum.com/markii.ico

Right click on the image and save it somewhere on your computer hard drive, remember where...

Go to the home page of the forum and right click on the page and then click the "create a shortcut" link.

Go to your computer's desktop and right click on the shortcut you created... then click on the "properties" link. You will then see the option of "changing the icon", click that and then direct the choice to the place where you had saved the icon image.

Shelly,

I saved it and went to the home page, right clicked, but there was not a create a shortcut in the pop up to click on. I will just keep it bookmarked in Firefox as I always have. Just as easy to access.

Nick, Wanna try again?
After you save the ICON to a location, go to you desktop and right click, create new shortcut. Put in www.markiiforum.com and it will create a basic browser icon. Right click that icon, hit properties and you can change the icon to the location that you saved it. Hit OK and it should be there on the desktop.
Thanks, Shelly. I like one shot clicking. My mouse index finger will soon need a joint replacement. :)

It's the right touch on your mouse!

I do it the easy way with IE on XP. I just click on the address in the top bar and drag it to my favorites bar. Icon comes along with it and installs itself. Works every time for me.
