MK II exhaust manifolds

Hi, the authenticity manual calls for black or natural cast color for the exhaust manifolds for a MK II. Any comments on color preference from members of this forum, as I am in the process of having to make a decision on their color. Thanks.

Mine are the color of sandblasted iron, but they're a jet-coat. I think they look good with the cast aluminum valve covers.

I had mine powder coated in med-dark grey and they should never rust again. I has been approx 1500 miles and they still look new. The rerason I like it is because they don't stand out. They just look new.
