The flex tubing off the fan on the passenger side was shot, Crumbling and torn, etc. So here's my tackey fix with cold weather coming on. Straight from Wal-Mart a section of flex clothes dryer air vent. If you have really large hands you'd have to take off the hood or fender to do this... not much room at all to get your hands in and replace the vent hose.
