Today was our construction groups annual Duckhorn Winery Luncheon in the Napa Valley. Some of you may be familiar with the region and that label.
It's a lovely drive (once off the freeways) through very nice rural areas and up the Silverado Trail. It’s about 2 hrs from my home on the SF Peninsula.
For the past week I debated the idea of driving the Mark II.
You have to understand that this car and I only have a month's history together and it doesn't talk very much. I'm left, therefore, to figure things out about it on my own. It has been running very well and after topping all the fluids off yesterday I decided there's no present like the time.
Gentlemen, what a dream day it was. The car literally "purred" at between 65-70 for the drive up and back. What a fantastic ride.
I logged about 180 miles now turning 68K on the car and a few heads along with it.

The more you drive it the better it will drive.

Sounds like a beautiful day.

and run!

Do I hear an AMEN! :D

Napa is beautiful. Last time I was in S/F, my nephew drove up from LA in his Lincoln stretch and we used that to tour the wineries. The hardest part in bringing the limo was to find a garage in the city that would take it in to park. We finally found one, but they charged us for 2 cars because it took up 2 spaces.

I wanted to put the top down but couldn't find the switch. :D
