Barry,

What are the dimensions of the print?

The print I got is 30 x 40. Detail is fantastic. His standard prints are smaller.

He charged me $515 to do the 4 vehicles and the house in the background. The huge prints were $75.00 ea.

Two views of your car on the same print is $145.00.

However, he could easily do one Mark II picture and custom color it to match your car.

He like the Porsche Continental Cabrio so much he's offered it as a separate print in three colors.

:oThose are neat prints I'm going to have to get in touch with him a little later in the process. I took a pass on a similar 356 about 28 years and have kicked myself ever since. It was stored in an old warehouse and blocked in by the biggest crankshaft I'd ever seen. Mains would have been about 4' across. It was offered to me for $2400 and back then I was enamored with "belly-button" cars.

If I kicked myself for every car I passed on...................

The '55 Cabrio is very rare as only 15 or so remain of the 230 that were made in '55. It was the only year that the Porsche wore the name "Continental". That was the first year of the Speedster, which outsold the Cabrio 5 to 1.

The prices on the pre-A Cabrios are catching up with the Speedster.

I'm pretty sure that this one was a Speedster. Pretty car though, I've always liked the style.

The Speedster was the stripped-down version of the 356. No side windows, a stick-built top and no carpeting or sound deadening. It's distinguished by its lower wind screen.

Speedsters are going for $150,000+ now. Feel free to kick yourself.

I'm going to show this to my wife. Maybe I'll quit getting those "looks" when I find another stray to bring home.

I've never really received any flak from my wife. She has 3 cars of her own and 30 wt. running through her veins.
