I did - to Target. Had a family circle around it. The kids were very interested as was the wife. They loved the trunk knight and the gas compartment. Usually, I am delayed 10 minutes when I drive it, especially at Whole Foods

There's just some magnet to the sexiness of this low slung art form.
I took mine out for a run today after tinkering. I love how it feels and I love how it drives.
So, what do you suppose the price tag would be today if it were to be done again? Corrected for inflation 1955-2009? Are there any Scotland cows left?

$10000 1955 dollars would be $79800 in 2008. However if the price of the MKII was more than twice the price of a Cadillac maybe it should be around $140000. On the other hand if the price was the same as a Rolls Royce as you know they go for around $350000 nowadays.

Was at the Glenmoor Gathering of Significant Automobiles all weekend. Just volunteered this year. I directed cars onto the field and my wife Judged and sang the National Anthem. She nailed it. Not an easy song to sin.

However, next Sunday is the last cruise at Baker's in Milford. Should be 1500 to 2000 cars there. They always save the "A" spot for us.
