Hello all in Mark II land.
I am new the the Mark II forum, but have had my car for a couple of years now. I have met some of you through the LCOC forums and on facebook.
My 56 arrived in the family in the mid 90's from the Chicago area where it was owned by someone with a hardware store. I'll have to check the documentation to get specifics. I'd love to know more about it prior to my father's ownership.
Below is a picture from this weekend where I had the pleasure of meeting another Mark II owner who lives about 45 minutes away. His 57 was owned by Henry Uihlein of Lake Placid, NY whose family owned Schlitz Brewery. We had a great time at the show where people were able to see the differences between the cars.
