We had the pleasure of displaying our Mark II at the Greystone Mansion Concours today in Beverly Hills. It's only the second year for this event, but it's already pretty impressive with a field of approx. 150 cars. The Greystone Mansion originally belonged to the Doheny Family, early oil barons in Southern California, and now is a municipal park in Beverly Hills; the home and grounds are remarkable. Unfortunately, however, the actual concours grounds are an asphalt parking lot and it was in the 80s today...sizzling. It was Beverly Hills, so lots of celebrities wandered through the event, but the biggest draw was Jay Leno, of course, who came in one of his Duesenburgs. We were delighted (and surprised, considering the field) that we won a special award for "best paint in show."

While we got the award, the credit goes to our painter, Tony Correia at Barry White's Speed Shop in Corona, CA. Tony is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and I can obviously recommend him without reservation.
