This car appears to have been totally restored. It looks to be a good job and the bidding is active, but the reserve has not been met.

The car was originally sent to Chicago. Original spec codes were D19-5275-1A1A - Blue Iridescent Acrylic Lacquer, the interior was Leather with Light Blue Biscuits, Medium Blue Bolsters and Light Blue welts. The Car came with a padded dash and seat belts.

Car has been changed to White, Interior is Vinyl, with White Biscuits, Bright Red Bolsters, and Bright Red welts. The padded dash was removed, status of seat belts is not mentioned.

This car has been relisted on EBAY. Last time the high bid was $30,100, but reserve was not met. This is the last 1956 Mark II. Also this has a vinyl interior,

Maybe the vaccuum cannister on the frame (underneath) rotted out!!

That can is stock vacume storage from ford that I had in one of my 70's pickups. When I saw it, I thought either frame rust or maybe there was a vacume leak that his mechanic was not able to locate. Either way, it would call for a very close look to be sure.
