Hi everyone - I'm so glad I found this forum! My dad has a 56 Mark II which he has restored (I'll post some pics...It's a beauty!) Anyway, he's starting to...how to put this nicely...slip a bit.

He bought a whole boatload of spare parts, which he absolutely does not need. They are taking up space and I would like to try to sell them.

Now this is where you come in....I have NO idea what this stuff is worth. Can you point me in the right direction where I could get some information? I know this stuff is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, but I don't want to get "taken for a ride" (excuse the pun).

Any help you can give me will be appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Julie

Hi Julie:

On our marketplace forum you are allowed to place items for sale. Our members are always interested in parts. We have only one firm rule on posting items for sale and that is you must include an asking price in your post. We don't don't allow "for sale" posts which are a solicitation for offers. We are not an auction site. Members may contact you directly with offers. Please describe whatever you post up as accurately as possible.

I suggest you print up a copy of the on line parts catalog of markiiparts.com to get an idea of parts discriptions and prices of items from a dealer who maintains an inventory. I think you would benefit by placing items here for sale before using eBay as our membership is definitely your target audience.

Good Luck in selling whatever Dad no longer has use for.....

Thanks Shelly. I knew I would get the answers I need here. I did read your forum rules about not posting items for sale without prices, but I didn't know where I could find them. I will take advantage of the catalog you referenced, and I'm sure it will be really helpful.

I agree that this forum is the place to sell and I'm really not very familiar with selling on ebay anyway. Thanks again! Hopefully, I'll post some soon.
