Hello Group,
I have a project MKII which needs a driver side floor pan....there is nothing left from which to pattern. I need the whole thing and up to the sides and forward above the pedals. I have exhausted most sources and no one in Hemmings, including the Ford folks can fabricate one.

Hello Nick,
wow, thanks so much for that reply and research. I can't believe the price is that low too! But the photo doesn't look exactly like a MKII floorpan which is recessed as you know. So I am not sure this will work.
Thanks,

Keith,
Maybe you should inquire for more info on them before ordering and check out their return policy too. I've never had to replace a floor pan, so I don't know what they look like either. If you do order, make sure you use the discount code.
Man, there's nothing left to that floor in the picture. Looks like the gas pedal is touching the floor. No metal to put the pedal to in that car.:)

Those don't look anything like a Mark II floor pan. Here's an accurate drawing of that area of the car.

You should be able to make templates of the good side pans and have new pieces made from them. Most any decent metal fab shops should be a ble to duplicate them. Here's a simple method of making accurate templates.
Cut a piece of cardboard slightly undersized, all the way around. You don't have to be accurate, just within 2"of the side walls. Secure it to the floor by cutting big circles and crossing them with tape. Take a 2 " wide piece of wood and put it up against the side walls of the floorboard, overlapping the template. Draw a line on the template 2" away from the wall. Work your way around and you'll have a perfect template, exactly 4" smaller than the space you want to fill.
Transfer original template to a fresh sheet of cardboard and secure the template to it. Using the 2" piece of wood as a spacer, line it up with the drawn lines and draw a new one on the new cardboard on the other side. This will give you the exact size of the opening. Have that cut with whatever side flanges you need to get to good metal and they're ready to weld in. Most fab shops have dies to put similar depressions in the metal to mock the strength of the original.
