Someone told me that they thought it was an instrument panel from a 56 Continental Mark II. Is it?

That cluster will fit a '56 or '57 Mark II. For the correct application, the key is the speedometer. 140mph is '56 specific and the '57s read 120 mph.

Thanks! It says 140. Any ideas on what it might be worth?

A lot more than that. I paid twice as much and thought it was a good deal. Always good to have this kind of backup but may label you a hoarder along with others and myself but go for it. Gary

The 140 is the MPH, not the price, Gary.

Why on earth would anyone need a spare instrument cluster? Sure, buy it and take it off the market for those that truly need it.

Good to be back Barry and have your vigilant eye checking up on my hoarding. Gary

Thanks for the replies. We don't need it. Is there a classified section here or do you know where i can list it to sell it....I refuse to have my husband hoard it:p

You could list it here in the "Marketplace" of you could put it on e-Bay to get the biggest audience.

Nancy,
I suggest posting it on Ebay Motors. Set your minimum ($200 for example) and let capitalism set it's value through bidding. The disadvantage to yourself and potential buyers is whether the gauges work. There is one thing that is relatively certain, if you should decide to keep it for a while there's very little likelihood of it's decreasing in value. Or, if you can find the rest of the car, there's a better chance of it's increasing in value than the economy. Good luck.

Because bad things tend to happen when parts are hard to find:(
